resigning as an artist

Sun Apr 25, 2004, 7:44 PM
I'm hereby resigning as an artist, as of today, possibly for the rest of my life.

I'm taking down every piece of art that's been on this page, hoping to leave no memory behind whatsoever.

I don't update enough anyway, no real point.

It's just not worth it anymore.

AH

HAHAHA

I have BIG NEWS (as Mr. K puts it: BIIGU NYUUSU!)

.........ready?

are you ready?

you sure?

KAY

....WE'RE FINALLY MOVING OUT OF THIS SHACK.

*inflates and floats*

SO... we got the place yesterday, and we've got... *counts on her fingers* exactly 2 weeks and 6 days to move EVERYTHING.

.....goodness.

So yeah, I won't be uploading for THIS SOLE REASON.

....there's an UPPER LEVEL... AND A YARD. ...I HAVENT HAD A YARD FOR 6 YEARS.

and and and a kitchen with a DOUBLE SINK. ...and get this... the FURNACE IS INDOORS! WHAT AN IDEA!

(sorry, i just really hate this home i'm in now... i can't WAIT to move into this new one)

at the same time, i'm very, very anxious... stressed, too, now with school, work, the gym, AND moving on top of it.

I spent all of last night crying... not sad crying... happy and scared crying.

...yeah, im a little scared to move.

agony

yeah, it's one of THOSE months. I do feel that I should update both deviantart and my journals more regularily, but... eh.

I've decided to try photoshop one last time... if it doesn't work, it's the end of digital art for me.

Oh, and someone thought I was gay because it's a picture of luna...naked. Yippee. I'm sure they were disappointed to learn I'm not.

I'm addicted to Fushigi Yuugi, despite the fact that I'm not fond of too many characters, specifically Miaka and Yui. It's funny... the manga came out...I think over three years ago at least. I read the first five books and stopped, and I can't remember why. Now that I have a job, I can afford to BUY the damned books.

so I will.

ah... I remember the good old days before InuYasha was animated and there was no english version at all. I can remember specifically when I was in the comic book store talking to Lin (a woman who's in charge of the anime/manga) and she told me that she heard a clip of InuYasha's voice in the anime.

I can't believe I was a fan when the manga first came out.. *L* I bought every magazine as soon as there were pictures of the animation. Now my collection's grown to a disgusting $900 worth of the original Japanese merchandise... and nothing but that. I see the english stuff now, and I'm just not as interested.

I can even remember how horrified of thinking about InuYasha coming to YTV was... "Oh God what if it starts on YTV and everyone sees it and thinks wrong things?!"

Too bad it came true, eh?

Good God, now I'm just babbling. Anyways, I was disappointed to hear someone tell me "it's S-H-I-P-P-O, there's no "U", you moron" the other day, and to see children at 12 acting like InuYasha masters on the YTV website ( [link] ).

It's disgusting, really.

and now for something completely different

bloody hell.

I'm officially seventeen, since Feb. 17th anyways. Yee-haw. They said sixteen would be sweet... man, what a lie. *L*

So..hooray! I finally managed to get back into drawing!

I've also decided that I hate photoshop, and will be practising my skills with the ever loved pencil. ...possibly in color someday.

*spazzes* so much to do, so little time! ..must stop procrastinating *nods*
